This competency refers to the ability to understand and comply with the principles and rules pertaining to takeovers and mergers. The scope includes understanding the situation when a takeover offer must be made and the ability to comply with the processes and procedures stipulated in relevant rules and regulations in a timely manner, as well as supplying sufficient information to enable relevant parties to assess the merit of the takeover offer.
